A luxury ranch wedding in a stunning location! This western alpenglow inspired wedding was one we’ll never forget. Hosted on their family’s private ranch, M + C were ecstatic when they had the opportunity to share this sacred location with 100 of their closest family and friends!
A complete blank slate, we created their tented reception in the center of a hay field, a cocktail hour near the original homestead house and a magical ceremony among the groves of aspen trees.
40 minutes of windy dirt roads, miles of pine trees, and one river crossing brought you to the prettiest slice of paradise in Southwest Colorado. Horses grazed in the pasture, the mountains stood strikingly beautiful, it felt like nature itself created this perfect day for M+C.
Bluegrass music filled the air as guests made their way through the aspen groves to a clearing of benches overlooking a perfectly weaved arch made of willows and greenery. M+C stood below that arch, sharing their vows and sealing their marriage with a kiss. The party continued near the original homestead where the back porch was livened with music once again and a nearby teepee tent served cocktails and refreshments.
The sailcloth tent adorned with gorgeous arrangements inspired by the setting sun, and the patterned linens reflecting their western flair were some of many of the details we enjoyed piecing together. A conga line led the guests through the field to the reception tent where the dancing began before dinner was served.
The atmosphere was livened with music and cheers, festive cocktails were flowing and firepits lit up the night sky as everyone took in this magical place – never wanting the night to end.
M+C waved their goodbyes to their guests and spent the night in their glamping tent for the full ranch experience.
