After arriving the night before, and exploring the nearby town – V + A opted for a slow start to their elopement day. Both getting ready while watching the snow fall outside. Knowing that February in Colorado is quite the winter wonderland, they were ready to embrace it all!
Wanting to stay close to the cabin, they opted for a back porch ceremony – just the two of them. Framed in by the beautifully constructed floral pillars made of lush greenery and bright florals, it was the perfect contrast against the black cabin and the white snow around them.
When it came time for their celebratory dinner, the back porch was quickly transitioned for their hygge-inspired sweetheart table with ceramic dinnerware and tapered candlesticks. Before the sun went down, they enjoyed a private farm-to-table style dinner.
As the temperatures dropped, they moved inside by the warmth of the fireplace. Wrapped in their Pendleton with a glass of champagne and a warm piece of pie they embraced the coziest of elopement days we’ve seen yet.
