Intimate Ranch Wedding Near Aspen, Colorado

It’s no secret that the Rocky Mountains offer a plethora of venues with spectacular views, but nothing quite equates to Patak Ranch where D + J said “I do”! Perfectly nestled in the Snowmass valley sits this beautiful estate. Every bit of mountain luxury among rustic landscapes, an undeniably perfect place to spend a long weekend. 

D + J held their 30 person wedding on a beautiful summer day in June – everything green and lush and ideal for an outdoor celebration. Their ceremony was adorned with the most beautiful vibrant florals, and their two peak arch hand-made by the bride’s father. Their cocktail hour took place on the stone patio where they enjoyed a self-serve bar and passed hor s’douevres. Unicorn of the West provided a curated hat and branding bar where everyone chose a cowboy hat and western flair! 

Shaded by the aspen trees were two long rows of rustic farm tables where everyone gathered for a family-style meal. In classic Colorado fashion, rain showers made an appearance and a sea of clear umbrellas covered the tables as everyone finished their meals. As the clouds parted, and the sun set the bride and groom shared their first dance as husband and wife, making way for a night of dancing and mingling under the stars.
